We’re Terry and Caroline, educational support and SEND consultants.

Meet the team

We are Terry and Caroline, an educational duo dedicated to nurturing the holistic educational growth of each pupil by improving pupil engagement and achievement.

With over 55 years combined experience in this field, we work collaboratively to motivate parents, teachers, and pupils to improve educational outcomes for all through targeted skill acquisition and shared learning experiences.

After gaining extensive experience in both state schools and in the private sector, we have become increasingly aware that the landscape of education is constantly changing, placing higher expectations on educators, parents, and pupils. Having experienced the negative impact this cycle has on the self-esteem and confidence of everyone involved, we felt compelled to act. Our primary concern has been the lack of pupil perseverance, resilience, and motivation to learn.

We have a deep commitment to fostering positive change through collaboration and shared expertise, and helping it gain momentum.

The values we stand for:

  • Approachability: We’re approachable and inspire through collaborative teaching to support parents, educators, and pupils.

  • Building Connections: We place emphasis on establishing meaningful connections built on trust, respect, and shared success.

  • Inclusivity: We strive to create an inclusive environment, believing that everyone should have equal access to educational resources.

  • Responsibility: We take responsibility for delivering excellence in our work and actions, and we stand by our services.

  • Simplicity: Our services are designed to empower and engage through straightforward skill procurement. We prioritise clear communication.

Meet Caroline

Caroline completed a Higher Diploma in Education at the University of Natal before successfully pursuing a postgraduate degree in Remedial and Special Education from Stellenbosch University, passing both with distinction.

Caroline possesses a gentle demeanour, keen insight, and a calm and patient nature.  Her ability to connect with others is attributed to her intuitive interpersonal skills.

Caroline is happily married and a proud mother of two.  She cherishes time with her family, enjoys the challenge of endurance walking, finds solace in creative pursuits, and has a passion for exploring new places through travel.

“Every child learns differently. I’m passionate about finding the right path to help each one thrive.” Caroline

There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.
