What is Dyspraxia?
Dyspraxia is a neurological and developmental coordination disorder (DCD), which is surprisingly common in primary school-aged children, affecting roughly 1 in 20. It affects a person’s physical movements and their coordination. Dyspraxia does not affect a person’s intelligence.
Tasks or skills that require balance, physical perception, or entail physical coordination are predominantly affected.

“Our son is Dyspraxic and has increasingly found school to be a hostile place. He started displaying nervous tics, which made him feel even more vulnerable. He was constantly being told off for untidy, illegible handwriting and for general disorganisation. Caroline calmly took him into her care and worked on his confidence first, showing us how to help him at home. His teachers are amazed at the transformation! We now have a self-confident little boy who is achieving and reaching his potential. His SATS results were exceptional!”
