Literacy - Writing Workshop

To inspire pupils to develop their writing skills by offering valuable techniques and strategies.

For Schools

The importance of developing Writing skills.

Writing skills are at the heart of education, as they enable pupils to communicate effectively and express their thoughts and ideas across a range of subjects throughout the curriculum.

Writing requires a pupil to generate content and use their knowledge of grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and spelling to organise ideas clearly and logically to produce a written piece for a specific purpose. By enhancing their writing skills, pupils gain the essential tools for effective self-expression and achievement across many areas of life.

“We battled to get our son to engage and take ownership of his work. He loathed essay writing, but now he writes for pleasure. So much so that he has decided to write his own Dystopian novel! Thank you for teaching him how to write creative essays whilst working off a structure he can easily implement, and instilling within him a more disciplined attitude.”
