What is Dyslexia?
One in five children have Dyslexia. Supporting a child with Dyslexia is a wonderful opportunity as an educator, although it can pose challenges. It is crucial to keep in mind that the difficulties experienced by a Dyslexic child are not indicative of poor intelligence or a lack of motivation.
The Dyslexic brain processes information differently, often making learning slow, difficult, and frustrating at times. A Dyslexic child has a distinct learning difference that affects their reading, writing, and spelling abilities. It is essential that this is supported with targeted, systematic intervention to ensure that children can access the curriculum successfully and achieve academically.

“We have been thrilled with the progress that our son has made since he has had Tuition with Caroline. As well as completely understanding his Dyslexia, she is a very kind and patient teacher. We always have excellent feedback after each session and can put this into practice at home. There have been great improvements in his schoolwork which the teachers have noticed.”
